And the King answered your questions!

Hello dear fans!

We know you all were waiting to read what our King Wrath had to say. Well, he loved all the questions and now... check out all the answers!

Natasha Daubney asked:

Hi Wrath. I was wondering what is one of the funniest stories you can tell us that has happened with you and the brothers. Thanks.
Wrath: The funniest story? Well, as far as pranks go, I’m thinking that my new, crystallized throne is pretty good. Just wish I could see it!

I have another question for you. Have any of the brothers ever dressed up for Halloween and if yes, what did you wear? Thank you.
Wrath: Halloween? The only Brother that might have dressed up was Rhage. With a new young around, Nalla…I’m sure that she will get us to dress up.

Mary at APageAway asked:

I was very sad after getting to the end of Lover Reborn. So I just start over and begin again at Dark Lover. My question is what do you see as each of the brothers’ greatest strengths?
Wrath: Greatest strengths? Well, for Vishous, it would be his knack and skill with techonology. Butch’s would be his hard-headed, idiotic ways – that’s how he became a Brother, after all. Phury would be his charisma. Zsadist? His steadfast determination. Rhage? Definitely NOT his ability to dance. More like his ability to find humor and grace in every situation. And, finally, Tohrment. His ability to be my rock. I can lean on to him and count on him to get everyone going and held together.

Also, have you and the Queen decided on children? Thank you for your time and thank you for allowing us into your world.
Wrath: Beth and I are still in discussion over the “whole baby thing”. No is not the time to pursue such actions and knowing what happened to my family in past? I do not wish to ever bring that upon another helpless child. Not to mention that many females die during childbirth and if my young is male, he has no choice but to become king and inherit the mess of things that I now rule.

Boo Ghardian asked:

*plops down, thinks, “I’ve got a Q for you, DW. I am your rightful heir…right?!?!”*
Wrath: *choking back a laugh at Boo’s question, I shake my head. If I don’t feel comfortable in have a young to deal with my mess, there’s no way in hell I’m leaving it to that feline.*

Xhex Ghardian asked:

*Pulls up Wrath’s contact info in my phone, shoots him quick text* ~txt~ One question for you, Wrath? Can you NOT yell at us tonight? ~etxt~
Wrath: *snorts at Xhex’s text message…I never yell at any one. I just make my thoughts known, assertively*

BDB fanatic asked:

I know that you are blind, my king, but with the Vampire Healing traits and new technology of this world today, have you thought about going to a specialist?
Wrath: I tried with Jane and Manny to fix my blindness. Those are the only two I am comfortable in dealing with.

Will you be able to see Darius when he’s born somehow? What is your best childhood memory?
Wrath: As far as we know, Darius has died and will not ever return to us. As for my best childhood memory? I remember that I used to tend horses in the stable. I loved the smell, and the feel of such strength beneath my fingers.

Briar Elliot asked:

My question for Wrath is how did he become blind?
Wrath: My blindness has always been alluded to with my visual disability. Overtime, the biological progression has made thing irreversible.

Sherry Driggers asked:

If you all have special healing powers, why can’t you heal your own eyes?
Wrath: Our healing powers are valuable – unfortunately they do not what one is born with. From birth, I have been cursed with subpar vision. Over time, it has simply increased to the point where I have no vision at all. Shallow cuts and injuries are quickly healed – but birth defects and wounds that have been salted over are not within our biological domain to reverse. In this, an appeal may be made to the Scribe Virgin – but as well know, she is not always acquiescence to our pleas. And she was not the one to cause it

Why did Jane get to come back to V and why was Wellsie and baby not able to come back to Tohr?
Jane and Vishous versus Wellsie and Tohrment. The Scribe Virgin is all about balance. Vishous gave up being the Primale (or rather, Phury stepped in) because of his love for Jane. He had to deal with learning the Scribe Virgin is his mother, and to come to terms with his power to incinerate things and to see the future. He almost lost Jane when she was shot by the Lesser. To keep the balance, the Scribe Virgin (in a maternal showing of love to her son) gave up her birds to let Vishous be with Jane.
Wrath: The balance to address with Tohrment and Wellsie really included Autumn. Autumn owed her life and beginnings to Tohrment. When Autumn tried to commit suicide, the Scribe Virgin kept her from the In Between and placed her in the Otherside. The SV knew that one day, Tohrment would need Autumn to heal his grief and help his Wellasandra and babe move on into the Fade.
I can’t say for sure why the SV did not let Wellsie come back, but if she had perhaps Autumn would have been lost. And perhaps Tohrment would not have been tested to his true strengths. Tohr has always been a likable fellow, and it has pained all of us to have him put through such a trial.

Is John Matthew really Darius’ son or is he Darius incarnated? Since the pact was made between D&SV for him to be able to come to the otherside but friends and family might not recognize him.
Wrath: John Matthew is truly Darius reincarnated. None of us know it – and I truly doubt that we will. The SV told Darius that he could come back and watch over his family, but they would not know him for who he is. Is it not remarkable about the bonds that John Matthew has developed? On some level, he has been able to recognize those that have meant the most to him – and he is able to connect without violating the SV’s mandate. Perhaps, once John Matthew reaches the Fade, he will finally learn the truth of his origination.

Cassi Ethridge asked:

Wrath, I’m a little behind in the books but am curious. Did you and Beth work out the whole baby thing and are you still going out fighting every night? Thank you for reading this.

I have not gone out fighting in a very long time – not that I haven’t tried. The last time I truly went hunting Lessers was right before I lost the whole of my ability to see. Between trying to win the Glymera over and dealing with the Band of Bastards, it would not be wise to put the Royal Line into danger – to force my Leelan into being a widow.

Susan Mccray asked:

Wrath, I was curious to know if you have come to terms with your blindness or do you think there is a chance that you could regain your eyesight?
Wrath: I’ve been forced to com to terms with my blindness. It’s supposed to get easier with time – but I’m not sure that it has. I pray that I may one day get my eyesight back, but I highly doubt that the Scribe Virgin will be that placating to me.

Can the SV give you back your sight or maybe between Jane and Manny they can come up with a solution?! Thank you for taking the time to consider my quetstions.
Wrath: Even with the good doctors’ skills, I do not think that they can possibly bring my eyesight back. They both have prodded and poked me to no avail.

DM McDaniel asked:

What is it like living in the Manse with all of the warriors? Is it like a big, beefy, vampire version of the Walton’s? *winks*
Wrath: *shakes my head* All of us fidiots living within the grounds? I’m almost surprised that the place hasn’t burned to the ground yet. If it hadn’t been for Darius leaving me the manse, the whole Brotherhood would not be as close as we are. In our own way, I believe that all of the Brothers are loners. Being forced together has made us see each and every one of us as part of a team as opposed to random individuals out in the world fighting off Lessers in their own way.

Anonymous asked:

Hey Wrath, I was wondering what you think you would be doing if you had never met Beth? Thank you for taking your time to read this.
Wrath: I’m sure that if I had never met Beth, I would be a bitter, crass jerk that would be toeing that line between life and the Fade. Beth is the verbal and physical conscious that beats me on the head when I’m doing something stupid, and the one place that I come to when life and its frustrations become too much to handle. Without her, I’m not sure I would have ever stepped up to the responsibilities of being King.
