Hello dear fans!!
This post has a very special meaning for us. The last 15 days were very tense for all of us because the coming of hurricane Sandy on the East Coast of the United States. We were apprehensive since the first reports and follow the news all the time. Thanks to Virgin Scriba, the city of Caldwell was not affected and we are all safe in the Mansion. But now talking OOC (Out of character), we all went through moments of nervousness, apprehension and tears to know that members of our family, yes the Unbound family, were living this disaster situation. Just like our beloved fans and members of their families too. Most of us were day and night in vigil to have any news, good or bad. And it's great that we have only good news!
We pray for all of you a lot! And we appreciate all the love and attention that you had with us, also praying, asking, caring for us. This reward is priceless, knowing that somehow we touched you.
The days before the coming of hurricane, who follow our Facebook pages could see some storylines that we did to prepare for disaster. And it's all compiled in a special document for you! On the sidebar of the blog you can access the document with all the stories before, during and after the hurricane. I hope you enjoy! You also can access clicking here! And before closing the post, some words from whow lived closely this moment.
The HBR (Human Behind Rhage) would like to acknowledge my BDB~Unbound Family, without whom I would not have been able to keep my sanity. During the storm, when my Real life family and I lost power, we were prepared, or so we thought. We were lucky; we had only power loss for 5 days, a lot of others had far far worse. But not being able to get in touch with people was the hardest. Cell service was down, electric was down, but every once in a while we would get a signal and we would scramble to get word out that we were OK, only to find out an hour or so later the message never went. Can you say frustration? I knew that you could! I would try to sign on to FaceBook and it would not update, I could say Hi on chat, occasionally, and everyone with be RHAGE!!!! I felt like Norm in Cheers, LOL, but then I could not chat at all. But knowing you where there helped in a way you will all never even know. It made me feel that I could touch you all and hug you, which when you are cut off from everything that you know, is all you need to heal your heart. We lost power while Rhage and Zszadist were doing the Bracing for Sandy StoryLine in the Beyond the Mansion page, which is why if you look, it was finished
about a week later. That is the beauty of this group, we all work together!
I would also like to thank all the fans who asked where I was or how I was doing. A real Role Player knows that this is a two way street. The Role Player touches the fan’s heart but you guys have no idea how you affect ours too. I love you all and you are the reason I continue to play.
There are others that were affected by Sandy that I know of and I am glad that they are safe and now warm. Power is slowly returning to the area, but there is so much damage. Towns that I grew up in, their boardwalks along the beach are gone. Water and then left over sand located 4-5 blocks away from the beach. Bays and Ocean meeting and creating new inlets that were never there before. The Jersey Shore will never be the same, but I can tell you it will be here, just different!

Please Volunteer, donate, give blood… If we don’t take care of our fellow man in his time of need than we have not touched a part of ourselves in need~
“At the end of life we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, how many great things we have done. We will be judged by ‘I was hungry and you gave me to eat, I was naked and you clothed me, I was homeless and you took me in.’ Hungry not only for bread — but hungry for love. Naked not only for clothing — but naked for human dignity and respect. Homeless not only for want of a room of bricks — but homeless because of rejection.” ~ Mother Teresa
With much love,
