Lover At Last - Warden talking about the cover!

Hey guys! How you doing?

Everyone is very excited with the new book of the Brotherhood, the long-awaited book of Blay & Qhuinn. After Warden released a prototype of the cover, all fans do is talk about it. And would not be Warden, if not cause some controversy. Some liked the cover, others felt the lack of Blay, and also people are commenting a lot about the lack of tear, the hallmark of our dear Ashtrux Nohtrum.

Asked about why Blay is not on the book cover, Warden said this: 

 "Rehvenge's book only had him- same with Tohr's book- Blay and Qhuinn are being treated no differently because they are same sex- and I kind of feel that "chickening out" would have been a case of my publishers not allowing me to write about them in the first place :D"
"I do think it's going to be important for people to realize the story's going to be written as it comes (came) to me, and that they're not getting special treatment either for or against them because of their sexuality- to me, this story has always been about Qhuinn coming around and accepting who he really is and who he really loves- so the title and the cover was always about him in my mind. This is not to dimish Blay or his journey or his role- not at all. And it is not a case of the book focusing solely on Qhuinn and ignoring Blay's feelings (because he's going to have some big issues to deal with, too.) I just think Qhuinn's the one who's fought against their HEA and is the one who has to travel the most to get there. If that makes any sense?"

Some things are missing in this Qhuinn. And for that, she responded to someone who had raised this issue as well:

"As I said, there are only so many details we can add before we crowded the model's face (and neck) so I went with the eyes because the cover read as a whole better that way even though it's not 100% representative :D"
"Again, we did the best we could- there're only so many elements we can add to the model's face without it looking so busy you get distracted"

Well guys, all we know is that Lover At Last is the subject of the year and of course, we are gonna talk a lot about this around here!
